Landscape Design Packages
Choosing Lee’s Landscaping & Design services is a great way to give your particular landscape needs thoughtful and efficient planning. Lee’s has three landscape design packages that provide different levels of design detail.The design service fee is deducted from the landscape installation bid should you choose to sign a contract for installation.
3D Master Plan ~ Price: $1,000
The 3D Master Plan landscape design package includes all of the features of the Master Plan package plus a 3D “fly through” animation that brings your design to life. The animation is provided to you on a flash drive along with conceptual photo perspectives. These files allow you to view your project from multiple angles. This package includes:
- On-site consultation, follow-up mtgs. as needed
- Rendered, Scaled Design Plan (2D)
- 3D “Fly Through” Animation
- Plant Schedule
- Conceptual Photo Perspectives
- Design Review Meeting
Master Plan ~ Price: $500
The Master Plan landscape design package provides all of the information needed for complete installation of your project. Whether you decide to do it yourself or have the job sent out for bid, this package provides you with specific plants and materials needed as well as exact quantities. This package includes:
- On-site consultation, follow-up mtgs. as needed
- Rendered, Scaled Design Plan (2D)
- Plant Schedule
- Conceptual Photo Perspectives
- Design Review Meeting
Conceptual Plan ~ Price: $250
The Conceptual Plan landscape design package generally covers topics such as layout, access and functionality. A quick design sketch can be completed for you on-site, incorporating your ideas with our design expertise. These sketches are not specific enough to provide accurate quantities or specific materials, but provide a general picture of what is possible. This package includes:
- Up to 1 hour on-site consultation
- Hand-drawn sketch of design proposal
Landscape Design Process
If you are considering anything from a new front entry plan to a full yard landscape, our design services will walk you through the entire process and give you a clear understanding of what you are paying for.
1 Initial Consultation
- Schedule On-Site Meeting – discuss problem areas (poor drainage, aggressive slope, shade, etc.), budget, materials (we provide pictures of previous work and picture samples of materials).
- Base Plan Measurements – measurements are taken of the specific project area, any existing features, and problem areas. Sun/shade locations are taken into account. Exposure-north/south/etc. Any information that will affect the project will be documented.
- Pictures – digital pictures are taken of the project site and surrounding areas.
2 Draft
- Computer Aided Drawing – will then be generated according to the project goals. Cad allows for precision measurements and quick turn around if changes are needed. The design will feature all plant material, hardscapes, and features (ponds, lighting, etc.) Discussed in the initial consultation. The design is rendered in color and scaled.
- Proposal - is also generated according to the design. All measurements / pricing for materials are taken directly from the design and laid out piece by piece.
- Plant List – pictures are generated so that all proposed plant material can easily be seen.
3 Design Consultation
- Another meeting is scheduled to go over the design. A copy of the scaled cad design is given to you as well as copies of the proposal and plant list pictures.
- The design is presented; all features are explained and discussed with you. The proposal is also presented and discussed in depth with you.
- Any further questions or changes are discussed and made.
4 Project Completion
- Once the design has been accepted and the contract signed, we begin scheduling and installation.
- We have our own crews of expert installers that carry your design from the page to real life. The designer is available to the install crew at all times during the installation process to discuss the project goals and make sure the design is carried out.
- Once installation is complete we do a final walk through and answer any questions you may have about your new landscape.
- We provide care sheets on your new plant material and can also give you a maintenance schedule if needed.
